OKLAHOMA CITY Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond has added a Tulsa County man accused of first-degree murder to the state’s 10 Most Wanted list, seeking the public’s help in locating the fugitive.
Jenks police began investigating the case Dec. 7 after a vehicle driven by Cazares struck and killed 25-year-old Eriyon Tecson. Cazares initially told officers the collision was accidental, claiming Tecson stepped in front of his vehicle. Police reported Cazares had slurred speech and smelled of alcohol. He was arrested on a manslaughter complaint and released after posting a $50,000 bond.
Surveillance video later obtained from Jenks High School contradicted Cazares’ account, according to authorities. The footage shows Tecson walking toward the vehicle while still a considerable distance away when Cazares drove into her, accelerated into her a second time and crushed her beneath the vehicle.
