For Oklahoma City nurse Stacey Sander, the ordeal began with a pop in her back while making a bed, leading to severe pain that forced her to stop working. In her search for relief, she discovered a stem cell clinical trial and reached out to her sister, Lori Gutkowski, who had been suffering from back pain for nearly two decades after giving birth in 2002.
