New video shows moments leading to fatal shooting of OKC metro crime spree suspect
OKLAHOMA CITY – Investigators are releasing new video showing the moments that led to the fatal November shooting of a suspect in Oklahoma City.
The Oklahoma City Police Department says Moore Police officers responded to a shooting at 4 a.m. on Nov. 22. Investigators say 34-year-old Deante Hawthorne shot two people at a home near the 200 block of North Eastern Avenue, leaving one person injured but killing 18-year-old Serenity Burton.
After fleeing the scene, investigators say Hawthorne stole a car in northwest Oklahoma City before driving to northeast Oklahoma City, where he shot and killed another man before stealing that man’s vehicle as well…
