OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — D’Anna Pulliam is with the OKC Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary; she is also the organization’s Buck$ 4 Bikes chairperson.
Buck$ 4 Bikes is a program started by D’Anna to make sure they can provide a new bicycle to every Salvation Army Angel Tree child who requests one.
“For the past 20 years, she’s done 15,000 bicycles for the children and raised funds of almost $700,000. That’s why I nominated her because she deserves the recognition,” said David Dong, talking about his friend D’Anna.

All year, D’Anna works hard raising money to buy bicycles. She found out bikes could be purchased in boxes, unassembled. Then the Oklahoma Bicycle Society began volunteering their time and expertise to assemble the bikes…
