OKLAHOMA COUNTY, Okla. – The Oklahoma County District has granted State Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s Motion to Intervene in a lawsuit against State Farm Fire and Casualty Company.
The lawsuit alleges that State Farm significantly reduced aggregate roof indemnity payments in Oklahoma through the implementation of the Hail Focus program.
Drummond originally filed a motion to intervene in early December. In his motion, he claimed that even though State Farm sold customers full-replacement cost coverage policies, claim outcomes were predetermined to meet internal savings targets.
