A brazen robbery has stirred the community near NW 23rd and Penn in Oklahoma City, where a suspect remains at large after targeting a local pawn shop. The Oklahoma City Police Department took to social media to appeal for the public’s assistance, sharing details of the crime that occurred recently. The suspect, described as a heavy-set Black male, concealed his identity beneath the anonymity of a hoodie and mask but left behind one distinguishing feature—a scar, birthmark, or tattoo under his right eye—a clue for those who might recognize him.

In their Facebook post, which includes surveillance footage of the incident, the police describe how the suspect nonchalantly walked into the shop and began smashing glass cases. “Robbery investigators are confident that even though this suspect was wearing a hoodie and mask covering part of his face, someone is going to recognize him,” the post read.
