MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (KFOR) — Firefighters responded to a fire on Wednesday afternoon at Midwest City Middle School.
According to the Midwest City Fire Department, just after 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday, crews responded to the scene near East Reno Avenue and Midwest Boulevard after a school resource officer reported visible smoke inside the school.
Officials said that firefighters located the fire and identified the cause as coming from a rooftop heater unit.
