OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A driver managed to escape their vehicle early Monday morning after crashing into a frozen pond in northwest Oklahoma City.
According to officials, at around 1:30 a.m. on Monday, Oklahoma City firefighters responded to a crash after a vehicle plunged into an icy pond in the 18800 block of Valencia Park Drive near NW 192nd Street and North Pennsylvania Avenue.

The driver managed to get out of the vehicle on their own, which was flipped over and submerged into the frozen water.
Crews then proceeded to use an aerial platform to assist a wrecker hook up the vehicle before pulling it out of the water.
No injuries were reported from the incident…
