Court documents reveal details about Logan County mother found dead in trash can
LOGAN COUNTY – New court documents reveal details about the murder of a Logan County mother and her son who was arrested in connection to her death.
On Jan. 28, 2026, the body of 49-year-old Spring Weems was found in the dumpster at a Logan County home. Her adoptive 16-year-old Jordan Weems was later arrested on a First Degree Murder complaint.
News 9 is naming Jordan because he is charged as an adult. Neither the Youthful Offender Act nor the Juvenile Code applies to him because he is 16 years old and charged with First Degree Murder…
