OKLAHOMA CITY – A woman who was stabbed while sitting in her car at a northeast Oklahoma City Sonic Drive-In has filed a civil lawsuit, alleging the restaurant failed to provide adequate security or warn customers of potential danger.
According to a petition filed in Oklahoma County District Court, the victim says she was stabbed multiple times late on the night of Dec. 16, 2025, while waiting in a drive-in parking stall at a Sonic near Interstate 235 and Northeast 23rd Street.
Police previously said officers were called to the restaurant around 11:30 p.m. after the reported stabbing. Investigators said the victim was inside her vehicle when someone approached and stabbed her before fleeing the scene. Afterward, the victim was taken to a hospital.
