Prison Cell Trafficking Ring Alleged As Trio Indicted In Oklahoma City

Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s Multi-County Grand Jury has handed down indictments charging three people with felony human trafficking after state and local investigators say they uncovered two separate schemes. According to prosecutors, Charquion Pope is accused of running a trafficking operation from inside a state prison, while Alaze Grant and Danasia Turner are charged in a separate Oklahoma City case. Investigators allege the defendants relied on online ads and direct communications to arrange commercial sex and then collect money from buyers, with both cases landing before the grand jury after coordinated work by state and local units.
