SAN ANTONIO – The man accused of killing his 11-month-old daughter and shooting his ex-wife pleaded guilty on Friday morning and was sentenced to life in prison.
Stephen Clare entered guilty pleas to capital murder, attempted murder of a child under 10, and aggravated assault during a hearing before Judge Joel Perez.
The charges stem from an April 11, 2023, incident in which Clare allegedly shot his ex-wife and stabbed his two infant daughters inside their home. His 11-month-old daughter, Willow, later died from her injuries. Two older boys, ages 8 and 11, escaped unharmed…
