Oklahoma City Domino’s driver shot during Saturday robbery

OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City Domino’s Pizza delivery driver was shot in the back during a robbery Saturday night near NE 15th Street and North Irving Street, and police are searching for two suspects who fled on foot.

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, officers responded to a reported shooting around 11:08 p.m. in a neighborhood in northeast Oklahoma City.

What happened Saturday night

Police said the driver arrived at a residence to complete a delivery and exchange pizza for payment. When he approached the address, two younger male suspects met him outside, produced a firearm and demanded money.

During the robbery, shots were fired and the driver was struck in the back.

Victim condition

The driver was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Authorities have not released additional details about his condition.
