Oklahoma police arrest wrong-way driver, BAC tested more than twice legal limit

A man was arrested on Wednesday morning after an Oklahoma State trooper stopped him for driving the wrong way on the interstate, and nearly crashing into several vehicles including an 18-wheeler.

According to a statement by the Oklahoma State Police (OSP) on its Facebook page, trooper was patrolling Oklahoma County when he observed a driver traveling northbound in the southbound lane of Interstate 35. The driver then entered the westbound Turner Turnpike going the wrong direction, forcing multiple vehicles, including a semi-truck, to swerve to avoid a collision.
