OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — 48-year-old Scott Phipps is facing six counts of unlawful use of tax exemption for personal purchases. The tax exemption belonged to a school he no longer works for.
Phipps turned himself in on Tuesday after the Attorney General’s office filed charges against him.
According to court documents, an investigation found at least six occasions where Phipps misused a tax exemption ID number that was issued to Stanley Hupfeld Academy.
