Residents gathered at Edmond City Hall to meet the new City Manager, A.J. Krieger, and learn about upcoming 2026 lodging and tourism plans. Mayor Mark Nash introduced organizers of major local events including the Route 66 Triathlon and Oklahoma State Championship on May 29–30 at Arcadia Lake, the National Junior High Finals Rodeo on June 21–27 at Lazy E Arena, the Oklahoma Coaches Association Clinic and All State Games on July 25–30, and the Beach Sprint Rowing Festival on August 27–29 at Arcadia Lake.
