EDMOND, Okla. – Tim Johnston carded a career-best third place finish, while Griffon Men’s Golf placed 14th out of 18 teams in the Oak Tree Invitational at Oak Tree Country Club in Edmond, Oklahoma.
On a windy Tuesday, Johnston followed up a strong showing in round one with a 73 (+3) in round two, birdying on holes 1, 8 and 12. He finished with a two-round total of 144 (+4) – just three strokes behind winner Juan Monckeberg of Texas A&M-International.
