OEM receives reports of at least 20 wildfires and hotspots as fire danger continues

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — Due to ongoing wildfires and straight-line winds, the State Emergency Operations Center remained active as of 7 p.m. Thursday evening.

Oklahoma Forestry Services (OFS) responded to at least 12 new wildfires on Thursday, along with 22 uncontained fires that sparked earlier in the week.
