OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Within six months of working at The First Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma City last year, a woman allegedly spent nearly $100,000 on the church’s credit card.

Kandace Ballenger was arrested last week, booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center, and charged with Embezzlement. She posted bond and was released soon after.
According to court documents, the church found fraudulent charges on their credit card near the beginning of 2025 and started to investigate.
They found that charges to the card had been racking up. There were payments made for over $1,500 on custom quilts, over $1,000 for home repairs, and thousands at a gym…
