An overnight hit-and-run near Northwest 50th Street and Meridian Avenue in northwest Oklahoma City left a woman in the hospital early Tuesday, and police say the driver who hit her is still unaccounted for.
Officers say the woman suffered a broken leg and was taken to a hospital, where she is listed in stable condition. Investigators later tracked down the vehicle believed to be involved, but as of now, the person behind the wheel has not been identified and no arrests have been made.
Police Still Working Leads After Early-Morning Crash
Oklahoma City police told KOCO the collision happened around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. Officers recovered the vehicle during their initial response, though authorities have not released details about its make, model or visible damage.
