Severe storms remain in the forecast this week

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — Even though the storms from Saturday night into Sunday morning may have killed off any chances to see more storms Sunday evening, the overall pattern remains in place to see more days of severe storms. Just like the past few days, the dryline will play a major role in where storms develop.

MONDAY: An isolated chance of severe storms along the dryline. If a storm is able to develop, it could pack large hail and damaging winds. SPC has downgraded us to a Marginal Risk due to the overall lower threat of storms. Behind the dryline, there is actually a fire danger threat for the northwest corner of the state.

TUESDAY: We’ll see a slightly better chance of showers and storms. SPC continues to have a Slight Risk for severe weather across much of our area for winds, hail, and even a tornado or two. Like Monday, these storms would form along the dryline…
