High-speed chase suspect crashes into OHP unit, injures two troopers

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Authorities have released new details following a high-speed chase on Monday night, ending in a crash and a person in custody.

The chase, involving a stolen vehicle, ended late Monday night near Southwest 36th Street and Independence Avenue, when the driver crashed into an Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) unit that was in the area.

According to OHP officials, the pursuit originally began with Oklahoma City Police officers before two troopers, who were in the same vehicle and not involved in the chase, were hit by the suspect.

Both troopers were taken to the hospital and later released with minor injuries…
