Oklahoma ranks 10th in the nation for the deadliest states for distracted driving

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – New data on distracted driving shows Oklahoma ranks 10th in the nation for the deadliest states for distracted driving. That’s according to a new report from cell phone carrier whistleOut, using data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

“I thought we’d be a lot higher, unfortunately,” said MSgt. Eric Kirby, with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s office.

Kirby spends a lot of time around traffic, so he’s not surprised by the new numbers…
