EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A new brunch place has cracked open in West El Paso this Memorial Day, delivering big plates with big flavors.
The Toasted Yolk opened its doors to customers on Monday, May 25, located at 5860 N Mesa St Ste. 133-135. The restaurant is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day, except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Assistant General Manager of the Toasted Yolk, Zachary Perez, said that the franchise opened in 2010 and has grown to over 50 locations across the U.S. The El Paso restaurant is the furthest west franchise, with other restaurants in East Texas, Mississippi, Florida and Ohio, to name a few.
“It’s [The Toasted Yolk] is primarily brunch. We focus a lot on Eggs Benedict and what we call our ‘yolks.’ That’s a big thing that’s on our menu. As soon as you pull out the menu, there’s a whole page with like seven or eight items,” Perez said…
