EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Fire officials report continued progress on Saturday, May 30 in the fight against the Seven Cabins Fire, burning in the Capitan Mountain Wilderness area.
The fire remains at about 28,900 acres and is now at 48 percent containment, up slightly from 46 percent reported on Friday.
There are 841 firefighters on the ground, fighting the blaze. The fire started on May 14 and has been linked to an airplane crash that killed four people, but that has not been determined to be the official cause.
