Galveston man arrested in Santa Teresa after failed border run to Mexico with stolen car

SANTA TERESA, N.M. (KFOX14/CBS4) — A 36-year-old man from Galveston was arrested in Santa Teresa after he allegedly stole a car in El Paso and then tried to cross the border to sell it in Mexico.

According to Dona Ana County jail records, Hamo Amos was booked into jail and charged with receiving/transferring a stolen vehicle and concealing identity on Wednesday.
