EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso County said it has launched a new award program meant to honor and celebrate individuals and organizations who strengthen the community through service, leadership and caring.The 2026 Community Builder Awards were created to complement the national America Gives campaign as the United States approaches its 250th anniversary. The awards will recognize one youth, one adult, and one organization whose efforts help build a stronger, more connected El Paso County.
From neighborhood cleanups and civic engagement projects to educational support, environmental stewardship, veteran services, animal welfare initiatives, and countless other acts of service, the awards honor those who embody the values of service, strength, and care that define the El Paso region, El Paso County said.The public is invited to submit nominations for individuals and organizations whose contributions have made a meaningful impact in the community.
