Providence stays in-house for new Memorial campus CEO after search

The Hospitals of Providence’s largest and oldest hospital has a new leader.

Victoria Gonzalez, who has worked for the Providence network for 30 years, has been promoted to chief executive officer of the Providence Memorial campus, which includes the 486-bed Memorial general hospital and the 148-bed Providence Children’s Hospital. Providence officials announced the appointment June 17.

Gonzalez, an El Paso native and Andress High School graduate, has held various financial management jobs for Providence, El Paso’s largest healthcare network. She most recently served as Providence Group chief financial officer and CFO for the Memorial and children’s hospitals…
