Crime Stoppers Most Wanted fugitive arrested in Socorro

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A woman listed as one of El Paso Crime Stoppers’ Most Wanted fugitives was arrested by Socorro police after officers discovered she had allegedly provided false information about her identity during a disturbance investigation.

According to a Socorro Police Department press release, officers responded on Tuesday, June 23, in the afternoon, to the 10200 block of Celedon Drive after receiving a report of a subject disturbance.

When officers arrived, they contacted a woman who said she had been involved in a verbal argument with friends. During the investigation, police asked the woman to identify herself. Authorities said she provided false identifying information, but officers later determined her true identity as 32-year-old Miranda Nicole Ybarra.

A records check revealed that Ybarra was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant for manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance involving more than four grams but less than 200 grams. The warrant carried no bond, according to police…
