Alyssa Secreto, a 35-year-old endurance cyclist from Colorado Springs, is currently hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle during the final segment of the Tour Divide. The collision occurred this morning (July 2nd, 2026) in New Mexico, roughly 60 miles from the finish line of the 2,745-mile race. At 4:30 AM, Secreto was struck by a vehicle, leaving her with fractured vertebrae and internal bleeding. She was airlifted from New Mexico to El Paso, Texas, where she is currently receiving emergency care.
