EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 21-year-old man was arrested and charged with family violence after a physical altercation between family members left one person with stab wounds, police in Anthony, Texas, said.
On Sunday, July 5, officers with the Anthony, Texas, Police Department responded to the 800 block of 3rd Street regarding a reported assault.Upon arrival, officers determined that a physical altercation had occurred between family members, during which one individual was stabbed. The injured individual was transported to University Medical Center for medical treatment, Anthony Police said.Based on the investigation and witness statements obtained, officers arrested Hector Eduardo Cardiel, 21, without incident. Cardiel was charged with aggravated assault family violence and tampering with physical evidence, Anthony Police said.The investigation remains active. No other information was released…
