The city of El Paso is still owed millions in delinquent Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) funds.
During its meeting on Tuesday, July 7, the El Paso City Council will receive a report on more than two dozen hotels that are behind on their taxes by nearly $3.2 million as of May 31. Nearly a dozen are already being pursued by an outside collection agency while the remainder are in the hands of the city Comptroller’s Office.
Following is a list of the delinquent hospitality companies and how much is owed as of May 31, according to a document accompanying Tuesday’s agenda:
