‘I killed my mom’: El Paso man calls 911, allegedly confesses to stabbing mother to death

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — “I killed my mom… come pick me up,” the 911 caller said Saturday, leading El Paso police to a South Central home where a woman was found dead on the kitchen floor and the arrest of her 30-year-old son.

Juan Valles Valenzuela was arrested after he allegedly stabbed his mother to death. The affidavit says that at about 1:45 p.m. Saturday, Valenzuela called authorities and confessed.

The alleged matricide happened in the 300 block of Cargill Street, according to the affidavit. Responding officers said that when they arrived and took Valenzuela into custody, they found his mother lifeless on the kitchen floor with multiple puncture wounds.
