El Paso ISD trustees weigh multi-million dollar bond proposals

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Trustees of the El Paso Independent School District (EPISD) got a first-hand look at the bond proposals the district will consider this month, which aim to improve various areas across campuses, such as aging HVAC systems, deferred maintenance projects, and other campus improvements.

The bonds were shown during a finance committee meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 4, where the board looked at three different propositions, including the preferred bond the EPISD Citizen Bond Steering Committee recommended.
