EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The window to bid on management of the El Paso County Coliseum is still open, but County commissioners may decide to scrap the search for an operator during their next meeting.
County officials are recommending the Commissioners Court drop the bids on management of the facility and to reject the bids on the sports tourism program. Some of those bidders told KTSM the deadline to submit proposals to the County had already been extended, and the news came as a surprise.
