EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — San Diego Padres minor league catching coordinator Oswaldo Pirela has been released from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody on Monday, a Department of Homeland Security official confirmed.
According to a DHS spokesperson on Tuesday, Pirela was released from ICE custody on bond pending his removal proceedings.
