EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Juarez police officers rescued an alleged kidnapping victim and arrested four people, including a 17-year-old, during an operation that also resulted in the seizure of a firearm, suspected fentanyl pills and a vehicle reported stolen, authorities said.
The arrests were made on Saturday, September 12, by Juarez police assigned to the University District Police Station following an emergency 911 call reporting that a person had allegedly been forcibly taken and made to enter a white Jeep Cherokee Compass without license plates near the intersection of Mezquital Street and Teofilo Borunda Boulevard in the La Joya neighborhood.
According to the report, several suspects were allegedly involved in the incident. A direct relative of the victim told authorities that one of the suspects was reportedly carrying a firearm and had threatened the victim’s husband, forcing him into the vehicle against his will…
