EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Police Department’s 143rd Academy got underway on Monday, Sept. 14 and it is one of the largest the department has had since before the pandemic.
Fifty-three recruits reported for their first day of what will be an 8 1/2-month journey.
It represents another strong step forward in the department’s recruiting efforts, they said.
