EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A man and woman, both in their 30s, were arrested in Horizon City after allegedly taking financed cars to Mexico, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
Luis Fernando Jaquez, 35, was charged with hindering secured creditors, $30,000 or more but less than $150,000.
Briana Christine Cardenas was charged with hindering secured creditors, $2,500 or more but less than $30,000.
On Friday, Sept. 18, the Sheriff’s Office received a report involving two vehicles financed through Ibarra Financial Services. The company contacted the Sheriff’s Office after multiple unsuccessful attempts to recover the vehicles, according to EPCSO.
