EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A large group gathering to “socialize and drink alcohol” resulted in two deaths and three arrests.
According to court documents obtained by KTSM 9 News, officers with the El Paso Police Department Westside Regional Command were dispatched to Upper Tom Lea Park, located at 900 East Rim Road, just before 3:40 a.m. on Sept. 12.
On Friday, KTSM reported that Manuel Canedo, 17, Jose Emmanuel Saldana-Castillo, 19, and Jesus Ivan Lopez, 20, were arrested for allegedly shooting and killing Joshua Michael Himes and Francisco Javier Ignacio.
