EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Months before a Horizon man received over 80 phone calls from his ex-girlfriend, she’d allegedly slashed the tires of his pickup truck, according to a police complaint.
The man alleges his ex-girlfriend Jessica Marie Mendoza has caused an estimated $1,600 in damages to his vehicle since the pair broke up two years ago. The phone calls, however, proved to be the final straw for the man, according to the document.

After the completion of an investigation, the Horizon man declined to prosecute.
“Complainant stated to affiant (police) this would not be the first time defendant (Mendoza) would tamper or destroy his property,” the complaint states. “On April 4, 2026, complainant reported to Horizon City Police officers that four of his tires were slashed by ex-girlfriend.”…
