EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A 24-year-old woman was arrested in connection to a high-speed chase that ended near Fabens last week. On Monday, Sept. 28, Texas Department of Safety said troopers received a report around 7 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, that a Jeep SUV had been stolen at the Tiger Truck Stop near mile marker 87 on Interstate 10.
A trooper located the Jeep and conducted a traffic stop near mile marker 68 westbound. During the stop, a passenger moved into the driver’s seat and drove away, heading west on I-10.
A short time later, another DPS trooper located the vehicle near mile marker 64 traveling at more than 98 mph. The trooper attempted to stop the Jeep, but the driver failed to stop, prompting a pursuit…
