EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Credit union GECU has committed $29.1 million to the University of Texas at El Paso to support improvements to the Don Haskins Center and the university’s Athletics Program.
As part of that gift, the UTEP campus arena will now be called the GECU Arena at the Don Haskins Center.
The name will be in effect for the next 15 years…
