EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 29-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly throwing rocks at a vehicle and man, and allegedly striking him, according to the Horizon City Police Department.
Esperanza Mondragon was charged with public intoxication and assault by contact. She was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility. According to jail records, she was released on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Records don’t show a bond amount.
Shortly before 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Encantado Drive responding to a reported disturbance.
Upon arrival, an officer saw Mondragon in the front yard of a residence, throwing rocks at a vehicle. The officer saw that Mondragon had “slurred speech and difficulty maintaining her balance,” according to HCPD…
