EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A man in connection with a New Year’s Day crash that killed an 18-year-old woman was sentenced to 15 years, according to a news release by the El Paso District Attorney’s Office.
Abel Garcia, 48, pleaded guilty to intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle. Last month, Garcia rejected the state’s plea offer and changed attorneys during what was expected to be a plea hearing.
