Fort Bliss soldier accused of killing woman in Juarez

EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — An arrest warrant was issued for a Fort Bliss soldier who is being accused of killing a 19-year-old woman in Juarez last year, according to court documents obtained by KTSM.
KTSM interviewed Ysabel Valenzuela, the mother of the victim. She recounts the horrifying details of discovering her daughter’s body in Juarez, stating, “I never imagined I would find my daughter’s body in that state. She was so harmless, and she was never in trouble.” Autopsy results reveal Aylin was stabbed five times and shot five times.

Ysabel has been living a nightmare since her daughter’s murder. What frustrates her most is the prolonged legal process and the lack of assistance she is receiving. She claims, “They tell me it is a process that takes long, but they have all the necessary elements, including DNA, video footage, text messages, and even pictures. I just want justice for my daughter,” Mrs. Valenzuela cried. She also expressed difficulty in garnering media attention for her daughter’s case, with limited responsiveness. Her final plea is for Luna Villa to be extradited to Juarez, where he can truly face the consequences of the crime.
