EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — An El Paso church wants to create a special night for teenagers with special needs.
The Northside Bilingual Church of Christ is organizing what it is calling a “Night to Shine” to give teenagers with special needs a prom experience.
The event will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9 at 10555 Edgemere Blvd.
“The event is created by the Tim Tebow Foundation to provide an unforgettable prom night experience, centered in God’s love, for people with special needs age 14 and older,” according to an announcement on the church’s website.
Every guest to the free event will get a “red-carpet” experience. Once inside, they will have access to hair and makeup stations, shoe shining stations, limousine rides, corsages and boutonnieres, a karaoke room, a catered dinner and dancing.
