Police: Man shot motorist, assaulted 3 others in Northwest EP neighborhood

El PASO, ( KTSM ) — A 44-year-old man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly shot a person driving through his Northwest El Paso neighborhood on Monday, Jan. 30, assaulted three other people and took off his clothes as police arrived, El Paso Police said.

Raymundo Guerrero Jr., 44, is facing two charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, one assault charge, a charge of injury to elderly and four counts of deadly conduct.

His bonds totaled $585,000.

Just before 10 a.m. Monday, police say they responded to a call about a man who was shooting a rifle in a neighborhood along the 7800 block of Enchanted Ridge.

Police say they learned that Guerrero fired a handgun inside his home next to a 42-year-old woman, causing her to flee the home.

Moments later, police say Guerrero went outside armed with a rifle and began to shoot at multiple homes in the neighborhood.

At that time, a 41-year-old man was driving through the area, when Guerrero began to fire at his vehicle, police said.
