Raymundo Guerrero Jr., 44, is facing eight charges ranging from assault, deadly conduct, injury to the elderly, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

According to court records, Guerrero’s wife called 911 around 9:30 a.m. to report her husband was experiencing a mental crisis. She requested the assistance of EPPD’s Crisis Intervention Team at their home in the 7800 block of Enchanted Ridge. Guerrero’s wife allegedly told dispatchers he grabbed his gun from the kitchen table and began shooting it toward the backyard until he emptied the clip.
