Get ready for a sizzling experience as Dave’s Hot Chicken opens in El Paso on Friday, Feb. 9.
The growing Los Angeles-based restaurant chain — another reason it’s hot is because the rapper Drake is an investor — confirmed the opening date on Instagram.
The restaurants specialize in hot chicken tenders and sliders, with spice levels ranging from no spice to ‘reaper.’ Each restaurant also serves sides of house-made kale slaw, creamy mac and cheese, crispy fries or cheese fries.

Origins of Dave’s Hot Chicken
Dave’s Hot Chicken , which started as a late-night munchies spot in an East Hollywood parking lot in 2017 , has 180 locations currently in the U.S., with the rights to more than 700 franchises locations in the U.S., Middle East and Canada and an estimated 90 locations to open this year.
Drake isn’t the only big-name investor. Others include former journalist and Kennedy family member Maria Shriver , actor Samuel L. Jackson , and Good Morning America anchor and retired NFL player Michael Strahan .
